Many good memories of summers at or near Silver Phantom Ranch.  I was told that there was an old miner that made his way up Weldon's Gulch each year to work his mine.  He had tuna cans placed on the trees to mark his way.  One year my husband and I followed the cans up Weldon's Gulch and did find his cabin but he probably had not been there for years.  Guess all that is gone now since the mudslide.
